Manager Guide
Everything a team manager needs to schedule referees with Holland Area Hockey Officials — how to submit your games, and how we work together for a smooth season. No account or password, just your link and your email.
Please submit through the site — not by email
All game requests go through your submission link. Emailed game requests can't be honored — submitting on the site is what keeps your games from getting lost and gets them scheduled.
- 1
Get your submission link
Go to the Submit a Game page and enter your email — the email address associated to your Horizon Web Ref account. We'll email you your personal submission link. Bookmark it; you'll reuse the same link all season.
- 2
Open your link and pick what you're doing
Your link opens a form already set to your organization. Choose whether you're adding a new game, or changing or cancelling one you submitted before.
- 3
Enter your email on the form
Use the same email address linked to your Horizon Web Ref account. That's how we confirm you're on a team in the organization and load your teams and games. If your email isn't linked to a team in the org, the form won't let you submit — reach out to the assignor.
- 4
Add a game
Give the date, time, rink, home team, level, and visiting team. Not sure of the sub-location (e.g., East vs West rink)? Pick your best guess anyway — don't leave it blank. If it's off, I'll reconcile it when I load the game into Horizon. Submit and you'll get a confirmation email with a request number.
- 5
Change or cancel a game
Choose the game from your list and tell me what's changing (or that it's cancelled). Do it as early as you can — for a change within 24–48 hours of game time, reach out to me directly right away so it isn't missed.
“This link has expired”?
Links refresh each season. If yours says it expired, just get your current link — enter your email and we'll send the new one.
Lost your link?
No problem — nothing to remember. Head to get your link and enter your email any time.
Questions, or need a hand? Get in touch. Thanks for the partnership — here's to a great season!
